Classify your headaches by type: Migraine, Aura-only, Tension headache, Cluster headache, General headache, or Other/unknown. This helps differentiate between different headache types and identify which treatments work for each. Labels match Migraine Buddy categories for easy migration.
Select from common migraine symptoms: pulsating/throbbing/pounding pain, aura (visual disturbances), nausea, light sensitivity (photophobia), sound sensitivity (phonophobia), neck pain, dizziness, visual spots, and more. For those tracking cycles, also log menstrual-related symptoms like cramps, breast tenderness, bloating, and mood swings to identify hormonal patterns.
Track potential triggers including: Food & Drink (aged cheese, chocolate, red wine, MSG, caffeine, alcohol, dehydration), Environmental (weather changes, bright lights), Lifestyle (stress, lack of sleep, interrupted sleep, skipped meals, physical exertion), and Hormonal (menstruation, ovulation, hormonal contraceptives, PMS/PMDD). The Reports tab analyzes which triggers appear most frequently with your attacks.
Mark where you feel pain: left front head, right front head, back of head, whole head, or neck. Rate intensity on a 1-10 scale. Tracking location and intensity patterns helps identify attack types and provides useful clinical information for your doctor. Your reports show average and maximum severity over time.
Record warning signs that occur before an attack: fatigue/achiness, headache (pre-migraine), tingling in head, weakness, yawning, food cravings, mood changes, or neck stiffness. Understanding your prodrome phase can help you take preventative action early and potentially abort attacks before they fully develop.
Track how the attack affected your daily life: slower at home, slower at work, hard to concentrate, missed social activity, missed work, sleep disruptions (couldn't fall asleep, woke during sleep), or not affected. This helps quantify migraine burden and communicate impact to healthcare providers.
